A Clinical Study of Treatment And Fracture Type, Etiopathologic Factors of femur Neck Fxin Elderly Patients

Abstract
|
|
|
We clinically analysed 10 cases of elderly patients beyond 60 years of age with femoral neck fracture.
These patient were treated with osteosynthesis procedures and primary replacement surgery from Aug. 1990 to Aug. 1992.
@ES All these 10 case were followed for more than lyears. The results obtained were as follows;
@EN 1) 6 cases (60%) were treated by intermal fixation and 4 case(40%) were treated by primary arthroplasty.
The good result was 83%kl in Internal fixation and 75% in primary arthroplasty.
2) Reducible type(IIIa) of garden stage III was treated by Internal fixation with good results and irreducible type(IIIb) of Garden stage III was treated by primary arthroplasty as Garden stage IV treatment.
